On the 14th of March the Humanitree maths department held its annual pi day celebration. Students competed in teams to complete a variety of pi related activities, these included a scavenger hunt and a virtual team quiz. Students finished the day by enjoying a well earned slice of pie whilst watching the annual pi recital. Students had been working hard to memorise the digits of pi and there were some incredible attempts. The eventual winner was Martin in Hive 2 who managed to recite pi to an incredible 116 digits!
