March 2023

Game 1


Humanitree girls team welcomed Santa Julia to Pirineos on Tuesday 7th March. The girls started the match strongly with some good phases of play, however, unfortunately, we went 1-0 down, and then 5 minutes later in the first half Valentina received a great ball from Claudia and put the ball past their keeper. 
The team entered the second half ready to compete once again and went down 2-1. For the next 10 minutes, Humanitree were all over Santa Julia and the ball started pinballing around their box when Eugenia connected well to the loose ball and scored to make the game 2-2. 
The game then went to penalties and unfortunately, Humanitree lost in sudden death. 
All in all a fantastic game played with great spirit from all the girls who played. 

Game 2

Humanitree boys travel to Col Madrid on Saturday 11th March 
In an exciting football match, Humanitree faced off against Col Madrid. The match ended with a scoreline of 6-2, with Humanitree emerging as the clear winner.

The match got off to an intense start, with both teams playing with a lot of energy and determination. However, it was Jeronimo from Humanitree who managed to break the deadlock, scoring the first goal of the match. Eduardo from Humanitree managed to score the second goal, giving the team a 2-0 lead at Half time.

Col Madrid responded quickly with a goal of their own in the second half to make it 2-1. The Second half continued with Humanitree dominating possession and creating several chances, with Jasio eventually scoring the third goal, this was a great team goal with many passes Nico and Eduardo did a one-two then Eduardo found Jasio with a great pass for him to extend the lead. Tadeo then scored the fourth goal, leaving Col Madrid with a mountain to climb.

To their credit, Col Madrid managed to score their second goal of the match, reducing the deficit to 4-2. However, it was short-lived as Jeronimo scored his second goal of the match a great pass from Theo found Jeronimo, making it 5-2 in favor of Humanitree. Eduardo then scored his second goal of the match to seal the victory for Humanitree with a final score of 6-2.

In a football match, the defensive players for Humanitree put in an impressive performance, helping their team secure the win. Vicente, Theo, Nico, and Bernardo worked tirelessly to defend their team's goal, putting in a number of crucial tackles and interceptions.

Meanwhile, Dani, also had an outstanding performance, making a total of four saves throughout the match, one of the saves was crucial as the score was 1-0 at the time. 

Game 3

Humanitree under 18s vs Colegio Madrid 14th March 
The Hive and flight students played their first game of the week and they got off to a fantastic start. Bernardo open the scoring for Humanitree a lovely pass from Elias put him through on goal and he slotted it under the keeper. Humanitree continued to dominate and won a penalty just before halftime Emilo got clipped inside the box. Elias stepped up to convert the penalty but it was well saved by the keeper. In the second half, humanitree continued to pile the pressure but got caught out on a fast break Joaquin went to clear the ball which deflected off the striker and the home team scored 1-1. The home team was awarded a penalty moments later, number 24 stepped up and put his shot wide. Emilio got in behind their defense and the keeper came running out and fouled Emilio, the referee gave the keeper a red and the host was down to ten men. Humanitree piled on the pressure but was caught out by a quick throw and Col Madrid scored to win the game 2-1. 

Game 4

2011 boys vs Jean Piaget 13th March 
The 2011 boys looked to continue their unbeaten start in the league against Jean Piaget. The home team took an early lead but it was canceled out with a lovely goal from Theo. The home team took the lead once again with a long shot that got deflected in off the striker. Tadeo got his first goal just before the halftime break 2-2. Humanitree took the lead for the first time it was a Tadeo with his second of the game 3-2. The home team wasn't finished they took a well-worked corner and just beat Dani at his front post. Humanitree continued to put the pressure on the home team and it paid off Tadeo completed his hat trick with a lovely strike off the post and in. Eduardo closed the game with a great solo run and slotted it passed the keeper 5-3 full-time. 
Game 5 Thursday 16th March Humanitree vs Edron 
This game was played at Humaitree this was a 6 aside game, the visitor's keeper started really well making some great saves. Pato, Ian, Bernardo, and Elias are all coming close to scoring. Edron then turned on the heat they scored three quick goals to end the first half 3-0 The second half was completely different Eucario and Emilio both scored two quick goals but the visitors responded back with one of their own 4-2 Humanitree kept on pushing and scored five yes five more goals. Emilio got his fourth of the game, Eucario with his second, and Cayetano with one. Edron got a goal with the last kick of the game full-time Humanitree 7 Edron 5.

 

Game 5

It was an exciting match between Humanitree and Highlands. The first half was a slow start for Humanitree as they found themselves trailing by 2 goals. However, they came back strongly in the second half with Tadeo scoring a fantastic goal, assisted by Mateo. Tadeo continued his excellent performance by scoring another goal, this time with a left-foot volley.
The match was closely contested until the last few seconds when Mateo scored the winning goal to secure a 3-2 victory for Humanitree. It was a thrilling moment for the team and their parents.

Overall, it was a remarkable comeback by Humanitree, who showed great determination and resilience to turn the match around in their favor. 

Humanitree 2011 boys had an incredible performance in their league game against Olinca on Friday! Scoring 7 goals in the first half is an impressive achievement, some of the goals were beautiful team efforts. Santiago G and Santiago B both scored hat-tricks, which is a remarkable accomplishment for any player, and Jasio also scored a goal in the first half.

The second half was also action-packed, with Humanitree adding another 4 goals to their tally. Eduardo scored one, and Mateo scored two goals, which helped to secure the team's victory. Additionally, there was an own goal scored by the opposition team. Final score was 11-2.

 

April 2023

Game 6 

Tuesday 18th April Humanitree 2009 girls secured a comfortable 2-0 win against INHUMYC.

The game was dominated by Humanitree, who created plenty of chances throughout the match.
The first goal came in the first half, as Marina found the back of the net from close range. Humanitree continued to press forward and created several more opportunities, with Alexis and Lucia coming close to scoring.

The second goal was scored by Claudia, who struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box that beat the goalkeeper. Humanitree's defence was solid and rarely troubled by INHUMYC, who struggled to get into the game.

Overall, it was a dominant performance by Humanitree, who fully deserved their victory. The win will give them confidence going into their next match as they continue their push for success this season.

 

Game 7 

Wednesday 19th April In a dominating performance, Humanitree defeated Alexander Dull 9-0. The game started with an early goal from Jeronimo, which set the tone for the rest of the match.

Theo and Santiago were on fire, scoring three goals each, and Eduardo added two more to the tally. Dani made some excellent saves to keep a clean sheet for Humanitree, while the defence was rock solid throughout the game.

The players showed their excellent teamwork and skill, making it challenging for Alexander Dull to keep up with their pace and intensity. Humanitree's players were in complete control of the game, dominating the possession and creating numerous chances.

 

Game 8

Thursday 20th April Humanitree 2009 girls secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Instituto Miguel Angel in their latest match. The game was evenly matched in the first half, with both teams creating chances but failing to find the back of the net. Emila's corner kick resulted in a goal, but it was disallowed due to a handball.

In the second half, Humanitree came out stronger and was rewarded when Alexis provided a beautiful assist to Valentina, who scored to put the team ahead. IMA responded with a goal from distance, but Humanitree continued to push forward.

The winning goal came from Valentina, who was assisted by Marina. The whole team played well, and the victory was well-deserved.

 

Game 9

Friday 21st April In an exciting football match, the Humanitree 2009 boys drew 2-2 against Peterson.

 

The game started with an excellent performance from Jeronimo, who scored the first goal for Humanitree with a great pass from Theo. However, Peterson responded quickly with a volley from a corner, making it 1-1 at halftime.

During the second half, Nicola gave Humanitree the lead again with a fantastic free kick. Despite their efforts, Peterson managed to score in the last five minutes, and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

As the match went to penalties for an extra point, the players showed their composure and skill. Jeronimo, Nicola, and Vicente all scored their penalties, securing a 3-2 victory for Humanitree.

 

Game 10

Humanitree girls faced off against American School Foundation in a thrilling match that ended with a 3-0 victory for Humanitree.

The first goal of the match came from Marina, who scored a stunning volley off of a long throw from Martina. Eva then set up Marina for her second goal of the game, increasing Humanitree's lead to 2-0 by halftime.

In the second half, both teams had their fair share of chances, but it was Humanitree who found the back of the net once again. Paula scored the final goal of the game, winning the ball on the left side and placing a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.

ASF came close to scoring with a volley, but Emilia made a great save to keep the clean sheet for Humanitree.

This win will put Humanitree second in the league, the girls will be back in league action on May the 17th vs Highlands.
