The 2009 girls competed in their first and second league game of the season, the 2009 girls' team is mixed of different grades youngest being in bloom 5 and the oldest being in Hive 3. The girl's first league was against Highlands, the Humanitree girls took an early lead in the first half, Eva did a quick throw-in that went to Mariana who scored a lovely goal beating the keeper at the front post. Just before half time, the home team leveled the game a throwin' came off one of the Humanitree players and it just went past Alexa who made a fantastic save moments before 1-1 at half time. Both teams started the second half strong Sofia G and Paula both came close to scoring. Highlands won a corner which was kicked hard into the box and bad luck struck again the ball came off a Humanitree player and went in 2-1 Highlands. Humanitree kept applying pressure on the home team, the keeper made many saves but she would not be beaten in the second half. The final score was Highlands 2 Humanitree 1. 

The 2011 boys played their second league game of the season and it was an amazing game to be involved with. The boys travel to Instituto Miguel Ángel for a 330 kickoff. The team started really strong keeping a lot of possession of the ball and nearly coming close to scoring on two occasions first chance was Vicente having a shot just going wide and the second was by Theo. Humanitree finally took the lead and it was Eduardo with one of the goals of the season, a freekick from distances straight into the top corner 1-0. Moments later the boys doubled their lead with a great pass from Bruno in defense to Vicente who passed it to Tadeo to score a lovely team goal 2-0 halftime. Humanitree continued to put pressure on the home team but with a quick break and the home, the team pulled one back 2-1. The boys didn't let this affect their performance and continued to create chances. A freekick was awarded to Humanitree Eduardo stepped up again and had another contender for goal of the season putting it straight into the top corner 3-1. Humanitree added two more goals Eduardo completed his hat trick with a lovely penalty sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. The final goal for Humanitree was again a lovely team goal Santiago and Theo worked together moving the ball up the Pitch, Santiago passed to Jeroinmo who scored low into the bottom corner. The home team got one goal back just before the final whistle Vicente made a fantastic save with his face he got back for the rebound but the shot just went under him 5-2 Final score.

The Humanitree girls played their second game of the season on the road. The girls

started the game well Paula and Eva had the best chances of the half but both shots were blocked or just went wide. The girls continued to apply pressure but couldn't break through. Just as the half was coming to an end the home team had their first chance of the game but it was saved by Alexa 0-0 at halftime. The second half was just like the first Lucia created many chances for the team to run down the right wing, and one of her runs led to Paula having a shot from the right which hit the post. The Humanitree defense was solid all game Sofia, Pia, Mila and the captain for the game Martina were stopping the home team's attack. As the half was coming to an end Emila had two great chances to win it her first shot just went wide. Her second attempt was from distance and the goalkeeper slapped it away from the goal 0-0 Full time. The game went to penalties, both teams get a point for the draw but the winner of this will get an extra point. Simon Bolivar stepped up first and scored Alexa got a hand to it. Marina's shot was high and it hit the bar. Alexa got down low to save the second. Emilia took the second and it went over the bar. The home team won the penalty shootout 2-0 scoring the final penalty. 

Both teams will be back in action in the next two weeks. Also, the Flight and hive boys will play their first games of the year Tuesday 14th 11 aside and Thursday 16th 6aside. Flight are the oldest students on campus under 18s this team we have some boys who are aged 15 they are in hive 3 or 4.
